How we look after your application
What we collect
When you register, we store what you type into the form: your full name, professional or artist name, email address, country and city, your disciplines and description of your practice, any links you share, the interests you tick, where you found M.E.E.T. if you tell us, and the date you gave consent.
The registration form asks for no uploads, passwords or payment details. This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics.
Why we collect it
- To review your application to the M.E.E.T. artist community.
- To contact you about your application and about M.E.E.T. as it develops.
- To understand which disciplines, places and interests are represented, so we can shape the platform around real artists.
We use your information on the basis of the consent you give in the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
Only the M.E.E.T. team, through a password-protected review area. We do not publish your application, sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. Your details will not appear on any public M.E.E.T. profile unless we ask you first and you agree.
Applications are stored in a private database run for us by Supabase, on servers in the European Union. The website itself is hosted by Netlify. The M.E.E.T. team also keeps a working copy of applications in a private Google Sheet that only the team can open.
If your application is approved
We create a private M.E.E.T. studio for you and send you an email to set your password. Anything you add there, such as your profile, biography and photographs of your work, is stored privately and seen only by you and the M.E.E.T. team. Nothing is shown publicly until M.E.E.T. launches, and we will ask you before your profile goes live.
How long we keep it
We keep applications while M.E.E.T. is being developed and for up to 24 months after, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your application, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Please write to minds.exploring.traditions@gmail.com and include your reference if you have it. We will reply within 30 days.
Registering is not a contract
Registering tells us you are interested. It does not guarantee acceptance, paid work, commissions or a collaboration.
